Babcock Laboratories is excited to announce that Kayelani Marshall is now our Client Success Manager! Mrs. Marshall joined Babcock Laboratories’ Sample Control Department in 2010. With four years of experience and dedication, Mrs. Marshall was promoted to Project Manager Assistant (PMA) in 2014. Mrs. Marshall’s experience as a PMA and as a Sample Control Technician provided her with an invaluable background in the details of project management and the laboratory, and she became a Project Manager in 2017. Working with our clients has given Kayelani the advantage of building great relationships and an understanding of what our clients need to succeed. In July of 2023, Mrs. Marshall was promoted to Client Success Manager where she will manage Babcock’s Project Management Team. She is also responsible for achieving the company’s client experience goals through relationship-focused service to deliver reliable results of known and documented quality by completing client outreach, advocating for clients’ needs, and working with our Business Development Department for seamless client onboarding. Mrs. Marshall holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Phoenix. We are excited about Mrs. Marshall’s transition into her new role and Babcock Laboratories is confident that she will tackle her new responsibilities with the same professionalism and enthusiasm that Mrs. Marshall has continually shown.

Babcock’s Riverside Laboratories and El Centro service center will be closed on Monday, February 19th, in observance of Presidents Day. All locations will reopen for regular business on Tuesday, February 20th.

Babcock Laboratories is Closed for Thanksgiving
Babcock Laboratories’ Riverside Laboratories and El Centro Service Center will be closed on Thursday, November 23rd, and Friday, November 24th, in observance of Thanksgiving. All locations will reopen for regular business on Monday, November 27th.
To ensure continued quality service when transporting and delivering temperature sensitive samples with short holding time methods, we ask you to please keep this holiday closure in mind. Samples should be submitted to the Riverside location no later than 5:00 PM Wednesday, November 22nd. For the El Centro service center, all samples should be submitted by 12:00PM, Wednesday, November 22nd.
For microbiology samples submitted on Wednesday, November 22nd, clients will need to provide an office and cell phone number at which they can be reached on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 23rd, if their drinking water sample(s) for Microbiology results exceed the Maximum Containment Levels (MCLs). In this situation, Babcock Laboratories’ Analysts will need to make a verbal confirmation with the client. If Babcock Laboratories cannot get ahold of the client, we must notify the Office of Emergency Services.
Additionally, please place bottle orders and requests for sampling supplies well in advance to avoid delays and expedite your sample delivery experience.
